As advisors with Latin American heritage, we gravitate towards artists from the region, including Cuban master Wilfredo Lam, a pivotal figure of Latin American modern art. Our work often includes researching and studying artists, their backgrounds and different periods of their artistic careers. We sourced this incredible masterpiece by Lam – portraying the seductive figure of a femme cheval, the avatar of female power largely considered the cornerstone motif of Lam’s work – for a client as part of our help in assembling an impressive art collection of Cuban artworks.
